Kamome
rain song -
slowly, strongly fills the whole room under this flood august looks like a refugee from the roofs of town they jump to sky - spring swallows love ending, winter beginning - smell of chrysanthemum waiting for the stars, a man with no woman - slow spring a soft breeze - is melting to moonshine the lemons' scent a summer storm - seems to sponge out all evening's colors sands - the world vanishing in a conch shell winter scent, while reading an old letter autumn afternoon - I feel like flying in an old mirror facing the moon, the simple girl raises her bare hand autumn evening - those eyes watching me have filled the sky ![]() (Italy) Kamome (Fernando lembo di Pino) was born in Italy in 1953. he lives and works on the Amalfi Coast, in the real heart of Mediterranean, both as a teacher of language’s philosophy and as a scribe/calligrapher and painter. passionate since years for japan traditions, literature and arts, he happened to begin a very late study of japanese language, but he’s been writing haiku since his youth. |
