a pink moon...! suddenly embarrassed at such a marvel now when we are so close dear, please do not touch me... (Valeria Simonova) Silently, carressed by the moon's pink light in solitude- the spring breeze rustles your hair; who could say we have not touched? (Paul Cooper) ** Along the curbside, pink petals drift in the wind late afternoon- the sun's rays soften the chill heading home down Thirty-fifth. (Paul Cooper) familiar to me every stone of the pavement; never getting tired as I squint against the sun heading home down Arbat-street (Valeria Simonova) In distant cities, we both pace along the pavement heading home- as the sun sheds its last rays maybe not so different... (Paul Cooper) *** Such burning heat, as this summer night flames on... no respite - even the moon seems to rage between your breath's rise and fall. (Paul Cooper) At the edge of dawn the horizon appears distinctly; between my breath's rise and fall you could discern a feeble "yes".
