Vasile Moldovan

Vasile Moldovan was born on June 20, 1949 in a village in Romania. He graduated from the Faculty of Journalism and did a postgrad program in Journalism and Communication Sciences. Since 2001 he is the executive chairman of the Romanian Society of Haiku. Vasile Moldovan won numerous prizes at international haiku contests (Japan, USA, Croatia, New Zealand) and published several haiku books. His haiku appeared in many printed and online newpapers and magazines: Mainichi Daily News, Asahi Shimbun, The Photo Gallery, Tinywords, World Haiku, Ginyu, Ko, The Heron Nest,Haiku Novine, Albatros, Haiku, Poets International.
